Unified Communications & Voice
Modern voice and communications for organizations that can't afford disconnected systems.
From PBX-to-cloud migration to Microsoft Teams Phone, paging integration, and E911 compliance — Lighthouse delivers unified communications built for government, education, and enterprise.
Your phone system is end-of-life, your paging and bell systems don’t talk to each other, and moving to the cloud feels risky when you can’t afford a day of downtime. Lighthouse manages the full transition — from legacy PBX and Cisco Call Manager to cloud voice, Microsoft Teams Phone, and integrated paging — without disrupting operations.
Working challenge
Your communications environment has too many disconnected pieces — phones that don’t reach remote staff, paging that can’t trigger alerts sitewide, and a migration to the cloud that feels too risky to attempt without expert help. We help you move from fragmented legacy systems to a unified, cloud-ready communications platform with a clear plan and no-downtime execution.
If you want a structured starting point, we can run a complimentary Voice & Communications Assessment and outline a migration path that fits your timeline and budget.
- Assess your current phone system, paging infrastructure, and cloud-readiness gaps
- Design a migration path from legacy PBX or Cisco Call Manager to cloud voice
- Implement Microsoft Teams Phone with Operator Connect for seamless voice calling

If you want a structured way to start, we can begin with a complimentary network assessment and provide a prioritized roadmap for upgrades, remediation, and future growth.
What We Deliver
Core Unified Communications Services
Cloud Voice & UCaaS for Modern Organizations
Enterprise-grade cloud voice delivered over reliable, carrier-grade infrastructure. We design, deploy, and manage UCaaS environments that replace aging on-premise PBX systems with scalable, resilient cloud communications — with no per-seat hardware to manage and no single point of failure.
Microsoft Teams Phone & Operator Connect
The most direct path to cloud voice for organizations already using Microsoft 365. As an Operator Connect provider, Lighthouse enables PSTN calling directly inside Microsoft Teams — no additional hardware, no separate phone app. Government and education clients can also leverage GCC High Teams Direct Routing for compliance-sensitive environments.
Cisco to Cloud — PBX Migration & Contact Center
End-of-life Cisco Call Manager and aging PBX systems don't have to be a crisis. Lighthouse manages the full migration to Cisco HCS, Webex Calling, or Microsoft Teams Phone — preserving call flows, hunt groups, voicemail, and integrations while moving your organization to a supported, modern platform. Contact center design and deployment included for organizations with inbound call handling needs.
Security is built into every layer of your IoT stack, from devices and gateways to cloud and applications. We focus on identity, encryption, monitoring, and compliance so you can scale IoT without increasing your attack surface.
Paging, Intercom & Bell System Integration
Disconnected paging and bell systems create safety gaps and operational friction — especially in schools, government facilities, and healthcare environments. We integrate IP paging, intercom, and bell systems into your unified communications platform so announcements, alerts, and emergency notifications reach everyone, everywhere, instantly.
E911 Compliance for Multi-Site & Remote Organizations
Ray Baum's Act and Kari's Law require accurate dispatchable location data for every 911 call — including from remote workers. Lighthouse designs E911 compliance into every deployment, ensuring that emergency dispatchers receive the right location information regardless of where the call originates. Required for schools, government agencies, and any multi-site organization.
GCC High Teams Direct Routing for Government Agencies
Federal agencies and defense contractors with compliance requirements for controlled unclassified information (CUI) can access Microsoft Teams Phone through GCC High Direct Routing. Lighthouse configures Direct Routing to connect your GCC High Teams environment to the PSTN — meeting FedRAMP and DoD compliance requirements while delivering modern cloud voice to government users.
Industry Expertise
Unified Communications Built for Every Sector
Healthcare & Clinical Environments
Hospitals, clinics, and care networks depend on voice systems that work alongside nurse call, overhead paging, and clinical workflows — not against them. We deploy cloud voice and unified communications designed for healthcare environments, with HIPAA-aligned configurations, redundant call paths, and integrations that keep clinical staff connected and responsive without disrupting patient care.

K-12 schools and higher education campuses run on communications infrastructure that has to do more than just ring a phone. Classroom phones, IP paging, bell schedules, lockdown alerts, and E911 compliance all need to work together as one system. We replace aging analog paging and end-of-life PBX systems with integrated, IP-based communications platforms designed around campus safety requirements and budget-cycle realities.
.themeht-btn.primary-btn { display: none !important; }Government & Defense
Government agencies and defense contractors require voice and communications platforms that meet federal compliance standards — not just commercial-grade cloud voice repurposed for government use. We deploy Microsoft Teams Phone with GCC High Direct Routing for agencies handling CUI, configure E911 for multi-site and remote personnel, and ensure every solution is aligned to FedRAMP, CMMC, and applicable federal mandates.
Manufacturing & Industrial
Production floors, warehouses, and plant facilities need communications that work in loud, demanding environments where a missed announcement or unreachable supervisor costs real money. We deploy rugged VoIP endpoints, plant-wide IP paging and intercom systems, and unified communications platforms that connect office staff, floor supervisors, and remote teams into one reliable, manageable system.
Why Lighthouse for Unified Communications
Veteran-Led Voice & Communications Expertise
Carrier-Agnostic Voice Design

Our Network Work
Our Unified Communications Work
Engagements range from single-site PBX replacements to multi-campus Teams Phone rollouts and full paging system integrations. Every project is designed around your call flows, your compliance requirements, and your go-live timeline — not a vendor's roadmap. We handle number porting, system configuration, user training, and post-go-live support as one coordinated effort.
Questions About Service
Answers About Our Unified Communications Services
The clearest signs are end-of-life hardware or software (Cisco Call Manager 10.x and earlier, most legacy PBX models), limited vendor support, inability to support remote workers natively, and no path to E911 compliance. If any of these apply, a Voice & Communications Assessment will give you a clear picture of your options and timeline.
Yes. Number porting is part of every migration we manage. We coordinate with your current carrier to transfer all existing DIDs to the new platform — users keep the same numbers with no disruption to inbound calls.
Usually yes, but not always. Microsoft 365 subscribers get significant cost advantages with Teams Phone and Operator Connect, and the user experience is familiar. However, organizations with complex call center needs, specialized integrations, or GCC High compliance requirements may benefit from a hybrid approach. We’ll assess and recommend based on your actual environment.
Both connect Microsoft Teams to the public phone network (PSTN). Operator Connect uses a certified carrier (like Lighthouse) to provide calling through the Teams admin center — simpler to manage. Direct Routing connects through a Session Border Controller (SBC) — more flexible, required for GCC High environments. We support both and will recommend the right approach for your compliance and call flow requirements.
In most cases yes. We assess your current paging infrastructure during the discovery phase and determine whether it can be integrated with the new platform via SIP paging adapters, IP paging controllers, or a full IP paging replacement. The goal is one unified system — not parallel infrastructure.
After go-live, we provide documentation, user training guides, and ongoing support options covering monitoring, adds/moves/changes, and emergency response. The next step is simply to schedule a free Voice & Communications Assessment and we’ll outline what a full engagement — including post-go-live support — would look like for your environment.
